The problem

Nordvelt's wholesale operation ran on relationships and phone calls — charming, but slow and error-prone. Configuration mistakes (wrong fabric, wrong finish) cost real money in remakes, order confirmation took two days, and the sales team spent afternoons reading SKU numbers over the phone.

Goals
  • Move dealer ordering online without alienating a loyal network
  • Eliminate configuration errors at the source
  • Give management live channel visibility
Strategy

Adoption-first design. We interviewed dealers before writing a line of code, built quick-order and reorder around how they actually work, kept invoices and payment terms exactly as they knew them, and launched with an early-adopter group whose feedback shaped v2 before the full rollout.

Execution

Discovery

Dealer interviews, commercial-rules mapping (regional pricing, credit limits, MOQs), ERP data audit.

Build

Portal with fabric/finish configurator, dealer pricing, live stock from Logo ERP, and quote workflows for project business.

Rollout

Phased launch: 20 early adopters, then the full network with training videos, WhatsApp support line and a launch incentive.
